1. Apologies for absence
Apologies were noted from Nick Humphries and Richard Whitlow.

2. Declarations of Interest
Nil declared.

3. Dispensations
Nil received.

4. Open Session
The meeting was adjourned for the open session.

No questions were received.

The meeting resumed following the open session.

5. To consider and adopt the minutes from the Parish Council meeting on the 27th May 2021
It was resolved to adopt the minutes as a true record and they were duly signed by the Chair.

6. Progress reports

6.1. Councillor vacancies
It was noted that there were two vacancies on the Parish Council and applications from parishioners were welcomed.

6.2. Christmas tree, village green
The relevant permissions had now been received to site a Christmas tree on the village green, arrangements were now in hand for the installation of a ground socket.

6.3. Bench, village green (maintenance)
It was noted that the bench had been treated with preservative by the Lengthsman.

7. Correspondence

7.1. Resident: Reported overgrown Public Right of Way (500B).
It was noted that this had been reported to Worcestershire County Council for attention.

7.2. Wychavon District Council: Consultation on Draft Hackney Carriage and Private Hire Policy.
The above consultation was noted.

7.3. Police: West Mercia Local Policing Charter and Parish Council ‘Contact Contract’.
It was resolved that the Parish Council’s main policing priority was rural acquisitive crime. It was resolved to ask for regular Police reports at future meetings.

7.4. Police: Launch of Neighbourhood Matters community messaging service.
It was resolved to advertise the Neighbourhood Watch (including the Neighbourhood Matters service) via the Arch Messenger magazine and the Parish Council’s website.

7.5. Worcestershire County Council: Update on Minerals Local Plan and Mineral Site Allocations Development Plan Document.
The above update was noted.

7.6. Boundary Commission for England: Parliamentary boundary review consultation.
The above consultation was noted.

7.7. Wychavon District Council: Ward boundaries consultation.
The above consultation was noted.

7.8. Worcestershire CALC: Latest training schedule.
The above training was noted.

8. Planning

8.1. Static caravans: To clarify the planning regulations surrounding the use of static caravans.
It was resolved to seek further guidance on the rules around static caravans with Wychavon District Council planning enforcement.

9. Parish matters for discussion/decision

9.1. Public Rights of Way: To consider maintenance and obstruction issues.
Enquires had been received from parishioners in relation to the alleged obstruction of bridleway 555B; it was confirmed that this matter was being reviewed by Worcestershire County Council.

10. Finance

10.1. Budget expenditure
It was resolved to approve the budget expenditure.

10.2. Bank reconciliation
It was resolved to approve the bank reconciliation.

10.3. Invoices

10.3.2. HMRC (PAYE): £99.20
10.3.3. Luke Farnsworth (Lengthsman): £240.00
It was resolved to settle the above invoices and cheques were duly signed.

The above payment, made between scheduled meetings, was noted.

No matters were reported.
